Dr. McCallum received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Western University in 2012 and completed an advanced clinical fellowship in 2013 at Western University, focusing on oral surgery, dental trauma, paediatric dentistry and management of medically compromised patients.
Dr. McCallum is fully trained in nitrous oxide/minimal sedation and maintains up to date CPR certification.
Dr. McCallum is committed to providing optimal and up-to-date dentistry and care to all of his patients by regularly attending advanced workshops on dental implants, oral surgery and restorative materials and techniques.
Over the last several years, Dr. McCallum has been actively involved within the community including providing dental care for under serviced communities in remote areas of northern Ontario, organizing charitable campaigns for local Make-A-Wish foundations and helping to create a non-for-profit organization at the local dental school to help individuals with special needs become more comfortable with dental visits (Oral Health Total Health). He also has been a part-time clinical professor at Western University teaching dental students various disciplines of dentistry.
Dr. McCallum believes in treating the whole individual and not just a tooth. He aims to provide comprehensive, individualized, and gentle treatment to every patient. He utilizes his network of specialists to help in providing you with the best care possible.
Dr. McCallum is happily married to his wife, Courtney and they have three energetic boys-Miller, Maxwell and Myles. In his spare time he enjoys coaching, travelling, listening to vinyl, cooking and golfing.
