Extractions

It may be determined that you need a tooth extraction for any number of reasons. Some teeth are extracted because they are severely decayed. Others may have advanced gum disease or may be broken in a way that cannot be repaired. Other teeth may need removal because they are poorly positioned in the mouth (such as impacted wisdom teeth) or in preparation for orthodontic treatment.

While this can be a stressful event, we strive to make our patients as comfortable and pain-free as possible. We will always ensure excellent anaesthesia before we begin any procedure, and we check in with our patients often to confirm an informed and comfortable appointment.  If you are anxious, inquire about our nitrous oxide sedation (laughing gas) to help make it as easy as possible.
